Fantastic Effort

A massive thank you to the over 100 people who came on Monday and supported Paul Thorner today and raised this wonderful amount!!

Paul is walking Hadrian Wall in September with a rucksack full of 20lbs of bricks to raise awareness of PTSD for the Rifles Charity.

Special thanks to Paul and Sharon Thorner for getting the extra support, some wonderful prizes and selling the raffle tickets, Jean Lockyear for making her usual delicious scones and cakes.

Tesco Paulton for donating the tea, coffee and a very generous amount of cakes and Beckie Eschle for bringing them and staying to support us.

Kevin Clarke, Fran and Des Loader and finally our very own newly elected Coucillor Grant Johnson for his continued support in these events and being our Bingo Caller!

Paul was freshly back from Madrid after watching his beloved Liverpool FC win the Champions League and he had been back at work that morning!
