FORM IS TEMPORARY BUT CHANCES ARE PLENTY!

A different look on Rovers recent run of results as we look ahead to another big game on Saturday!.

Despite being on a poor run of form, John Rendell's squad of young, determined lads can take many positives with them going into Saturday's game against Didcot Town.

Looking back over the last 4 games, the stats paint quite a different picture to the results with Paulton amassing over 53 attempts on goal. For the geeks (like me) that's an average of 13.25 efforts per game and, apart from the Bideford game, it far exceeds that of the opposing sides who have all come away with the 3 points.

The pattern continues when we look at Shots on Target with almost half (45% to be exact) of the attempts being goal bound and the attacking doesn't stop there with Rovers averaging 6 corners per game over the same period.
When you throw in a couple of clear penalty shouts turned down, a disallowed goal and some inconsistent refereeing, there is no doubt recent results could have looked a lot different.

With the positive team spirit & determination Rendell has instilled into his young squad, along with continued attacking stats like previous games then surely a turn of fortune is just around the corner!
