Bridgey move on

Bridgwater move into the next round of the FA Youth Cup after a fiesta second half.

The visitors drawn from the Bridgwater College Acadamy went into a third minute lead as Patrick O'Halloran head and Charlie Boyd finished off the move.

They added to the score eight minutes later as Harry Purser set up Dodd to fire home past Rovers keeper Sean Salter.

Paulton captain Lewis Bond-Kendall saw his shot held by keeper Harry Butler. Bridget made it 3-0 as O'Halloran dribbled through to slot the bal home with only 19 minutes on the clock.

Rovers adjusted and started to get into the game. However it was not until the 56 minutes that they pulled a goal back, Jake Curtis broke through and his shot was parried by Butler and sub Mason Harrison reacted first to score.

On 74 minutes it was 3-2, Blaine Lawrence found the impressive Ali Sen who weaved through the Bridgwater defence to reduce the deficit. The keeper smothered the ball in the net and sub Lewis Harrison was sent off whilst the visiting left back Finlay Biggs was very lucky not to receive a similar as he threw punches.

With time running out O'Halloran was on hand to complete the scoring, driving home from close range.
