Paulton Reserves travelled to Street for this fixture on a blustery wet day.

Playing with the wind behind them in the first half Paulton pressed from the off. Keeping the ball on the deck on the 3G surface was key and Paulton did this well playing the ball around nicely.

Creating numerous chances in the first quarter with Farr and Harrison getting in behind from wide finding Paulton's front twowho either shot straight at the keeper or hit the woodwork.

Is was on 21 minutes when the breakthrough came with a move starting from defence. A final ball found Lewis Harrison and with a cool finish slotted past the advancing keeper.

It was 2-0 on 36 minutes when Aaron Whittock shot from distance.

The second half again saw Paulton play with similar style and many more chances were squandered. Lantokay pressed to try and get back into the game but Rovers defence stood firm.

It was on 89 minutes that Harrison was brought down in the box and Whittock netted from the penalty.

A better performance from Paulton after a few disappointing recent results.

Next week see them travel to take on Shepton Mallet Reserves kick off 2-00 pm
