Rovers seal enfatic win REPORT BY CIARAN SKINNER

A Jake Curtis masterclass helps Rovers to a nine goal thumping.

Paulton started quickly with Blaine Lawrence crossing the ball from 25 yards which flew past the keeper to make it 1-0. Five minutes later Jake Curtis’ blistering pace helped him round Town keeper James Humble who slotted it in for the second.

Lawrence had two more chances to score with a free kick just wide and a shot just missing the wrong side of the post.

After multiple attempts on his strong left foot Curtis finally managed to get a chip over Humble with his weak foot to make it 3-0

Keynsham got one back with a cross meeting an unmarked Jack Evans who gave Town a glimmer of hope.

With five minutes left of the first half Rovers scored a fourth with Ali Sen setting up Lucas Hawkins from close range.

Curtis used his pace to go one on one with the keeper who chipped him on the edge of the box to trickle in for 5-0. One minute later he got another when he sprinted through the defence to slot past Humble for goal number six.

Rovers got a final goal in the first half with Curtis’ shot rebounding off the post and Sen react first to the ball making it 7-1 from close range.

Early in the second half Blaine Lawrence started the half the same as the first with a shot bouncing past Humble to add to the tally.

A Keynsham corner met the head of Alex Marks who put a ripple of luck in the back of the net.

Archie Blacker played a through ball to Sen who finished with a superb dribble past defenders and hit home with great power to make it 9-2.

Jake Curtis used his pace once more to get passed the defence to slot it home for 10-2.

Ali Sen finished off the evening with a final goal beating two defenders and chipping it over a stranded keeper
