Plenty of goals in first home friendly

Paulton youngsters got off to a flying start as Blaine Lawrence scored from close range on four minutes. Two minutes later Lawrence ran through to nab his second.

On nine minutes Jake Curtis picked up a loose ball to make it 3-0.

Mango's then pulled two goals as half time approached both through Bailey Sloper but Curtis hit a low shot to give Rovers a 4-2 half time lead.

With both sides makeing numerous substitutions Mango's reduced the arrears through the lively Divine Amoefule on 63 minutes.

Amoefule was involved as Taylor Cepek levelled and with 12 minutes left Louie Short put them ahead and Calum Ball made it six.

Rovers manager Josh Hurst said it was a good run out and with several players on holiday he can decide how his squad shapes in the remaining pre season friendlies.

On Saturday 3 August Paulton are at Odd Down kick off 1-00 p.m.
