Sound win for U18's

A very dominant performance saw Paulton's young team trounced Bradford in the opening game of the Western Counties Floodlit Youth League Central Division season.

Al Sen opened the scoring on 14 minutes running on to crash a pile driver from 20 yards.

It was 2-0 after 23 minutes as Blaine Lawrence robbed his marker and chipped visiting keeper Kuba Rownicki.

Two minutes later Lawrence's spectacular overhead bicycle kick sailed past Rownicki to make it 3-0.

Harvey Frisby had Bradford's first shot going over the bar.

In truth Rovers missed three apparently easy chances before half time.

Four minutes after half time. Lawrence grabbed his hat trick. He struck a fierce free kick giving the keeper no chance.

Luke Seviour and Archie Blacker set up Jake Curtis to make it five on 62 minutes and it was 6-0 after 75 minutes after Curtis broke through to slot the ball home.

Curtis completed his hat trick and the rout by cutting in from the left to make it 7-0.
