Jack Bendan replaces Amy Wheeler

Paulton Rovers club physiotherapist Amy Wheeler is leaving the club after 5 years of service joining on graduating from the University of Coventry.

Amy will be taking on additional part-time study in order to further progress her career within the profession so can no longer fully commit to the demands of Evostik Southern League football.

Amy will still provide cover on matchdays as and when required.

On behalf of all the players, management and all connected at Paulton Rovers, we wish Amy all the very best in her new venture, and thank her for her commitment and hard work during her time at the club.

Manager John Rendell said 'we are pleased to bring in locally based Jack Bendan who will start with the squad in June as a Sports Therapist. Jack has covered Amy over the past two seasons so knows how we work around the club. Jack knows the players and he is looking forward to bringing in a new dimension to the role, where he will be focusing on injury prevention, rehabilitation, strength & conditioning and fitness'.

Jack has played the game having been Club Captain of the University of Gloucestershire, whilst studying BSc in Sports Therapy and is about to graduate.

He has gained valuable experience working with Bristol Rovers Academy for two seasons and also at Longlevans AFC.
