Paulton started brightly though missing three of the recognised strikers that had been lethal in front of goal in the 9-1 win over Radstock last Saturday.
Rovers took the lead after nineteen minutes when Brandon Barnes struck a 20 yard sweetly hit free kick after Dean Evans had been fouled.
Mike Bryant should have put the visitors in front from Keiran Baggs cross, but he headed win with goal at his mercy.
That miss was to prove important as Street broke on the right and Craig Herron equalised six minutes from half time.
Rovers brought on a number of trialist's and continue neat build up play without any goal threat. Twice keeper Kyle Phillips prevented Herron from giving the home side the lead.
Street did get the winner when Herron's shot was well saved by Phillips and Jackson tucked the ball home.
Paulton are at Melksham on Friday K-O 7-45 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on-line on Somer Valley FM. Then next Monday K-O 7-30 pm at Larkhall Athletic followed by a trip to Shepton Mallett which will be Lee Bryant's benefit. Lee played for both club's as well as Welton Rovers and Radstock Town.
