Rovers' lost to current holders Taunton Town in the semi final of the Somerset Premier Cup.
An awful game at Winterrfield Road deservedly won by a Taunton side who on the night wanted to win more than Rovers.
Paulton took the lead on 5 minutes when Davies's corner from the right was volley home by Brice.
Rovers missed a penalty 2 minutes from half time as Scott Wilson was fouled but then saw his weak shot saved by Lloyd Irish.
Two minutes after the break Josh Jeffries volley spectacularly pased Irish to make it 2-0.
The Peacocks pulled a goal back on 61 minutes with a Jamie Short shot saw a wicked deflection passed home keeper Kyle Phillips.
Taunton levelled on 69 minutes when Craig Herod's first shot was blocked by Phillips but he followed up to drive into the net.
In extra time Town made it 3-2 on 96 minutes after Scott Brice was adjudged to have handled the ball and dismissed. Rodney Marsh scored from the spot.
In the 113 minute Graham Mercica ran on and neted from close range.
