BARNSTAPLE TOWN 2 v 1 PAULTON ROVERS

Paulton went down battling at Barnstaple Town in the Southern League Challenge Cup quarter final tie.on a very heavy pitch with keeper George Burton pulling off several fine saves for the visitors.

Rovers midfielder Elliott Gibbons brought a save from Steve Oliver whilst Burton parried a hard drive from James Blake.

Blake opened the scoring getting on the end of a cross from Liam Gregory after 54 minutes. Then sub Scott Sharp missed a glaring header to increase the lead.

Barum made it 2-0 as Gregory's corner was headed home by Craig Allen.

In the last minute Kailan Gould wriggled through and some how slipped the ball past home keeper Oliver.
