SWINDON SUPERMARINE 2 v 3 PAULTON ROVERS

Paulton repeated their last round feat coming from two goals down to win at Swindon Supermarine.

Rovers looked bright in the first fifteen minutes without getting any end product despite a header wide from Mario Mateus.

They were undone as Josh Parsons opened the scoring for Marine on 21 minutes after Ryan Campbell's cross field found Connor Thompson and he was on hand to turn in.

It was 2-0 on 33 minutes as Campbell's cross from the left was superbly headed in by the the lively Parsons.

Rovers slowly got in the game and pulled one back on 42 minutes as Joe Chandler headed in from Dale Evans cross on the right.

Immediately afterwards it should have been 2-2 as Joe Guest's flick on found Joe Hilliard looking certain to score he hit the side netting.

A sound half time team talk and what a difference from the off.

It was level on 52 minutes after Mateus cross from left was driven home by Guest.

Three minutes later Josh Morgan Williams start a move from the midfield his through ball was cut out by Ryan Wood who trod on the ball Jack Ball latched on and hit a fine shot past Josh Hill in the home goal.

Chandler, captain Josh Ford, James Byrne and Sam Hedges put in a sound defence and Parsons and his team mates were snuffed out of any revival. The importance of subs Andy Elcock, Dave Sims and Josh Cann added to the impetus.

Keeper Hannah commanded his area saved easily from Campbell and sub George Kellow.

Man of the match Morgan Williams turned and hit a fierce drive narrowly past the post.

A brilliant performance from John Rendell's squad and a look forward to whoever Rovers drawn on Monday at 1-00 p.m. in the 4th round of the 4th qualifying round.
