We welcome Bridgwater Utd to The Winterfield Stadium on Tuesday evening for the second round on the Somerset Premier Cup.

The visitors have recently had a change of manager with Andy Llewellyn replacing Dave Pearse. The three results since the change have seen a win in the Premier Division of the Toolstation Western League, and two draws in cup competitions progressing on penalties in the FA Vase on Saturday. They currently sit second in their league just a point behind Helston Athletic.

Rovers missed their Saturday game against Wimborne Town due to a frozen pitch so our previous result was the 4-0 loss away to Larkhall. Manager, Kyle Tooze, had some strong words to say after that game and it remains to be seen how that may affect the line-up for this fixture. Traditionally, these fixtures often open up opportunities for fringe players to make a claim for a first team place.

The previous time these teams met was in the semi-final of this competition last season where we took a narrow 1-0 victory to take our place in the final.
