League leaders, Wimborne Town, are the visitors to The Winterfield Stadium on Saturday afternoon for a 3pm kick-off.
"The Magpies" are in good form having won three out of five of their previous league matches including a 2-1 victory over Larkhall on Tuesday evening. Its a run that has seen them move to the top of the table on 30 points, 3 points ahead of Cribbs who sit in second having played one game fewer.
There have been two previous fixtures with Wimborne this season; both in the FA Cup. The first game was a 0-0 draw away at New Cuthbury. A game that Rovers were unlucky not to win having created a number of great chances. Wimborne progressed to the next round having won the replay 2-0.
To go up against the inform league leaders coming off the back of two confidence sapping defeats will make the game a tough task. But sometimes these are just the type of games you need to get a response.
Having been hit by a number of injuries in the last couple of games, we have some good news as we welcome back club captain Neil Martin back into the squad. Neil returns after the latest addition to his own squad... congratulations to Neil and family! We also welcome new signing Sam Pashan into the squad. Sam joins from Yate Town and is a versatile defender. Welcome to Rovers, Sam!
