Preview by Jon Green
In a change to the original fixture date, we return to Southern League action on Saturday when Hamworthy Utd are the visitors to Winterfield Road.
So far, Rovers' season has been up and down with some good performances against Wimborne away and Willand at home but some poor performances too culminating, in what can only be called a thrashing, in the FA Trophy last Saturday at Bishops Cleeve. With reduced temperatures and a familiar pitch, the Rovers faithful will be hoping for an upturn in form!
Hamworthy sit one place below Paulton in 14th and have had a number of changes in their squad from last season when they narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier Division of the Southern League. They themselves have had a mixed start to their league campaign. From the first four fixtures they lave lost two, drawn one with one win against Cribbs.
Rovers welcome back Dan McBeam from his long term injury but will assess Toby Stephens after he received a knock in the Cup game against Bishops Cleeve.
