It was 2-0 after fifty two minutes as Tony Burnett header found Merson who hit a firm low shot past Ben John.
The home side got a third six minutes later when Daniel broke down the right and hit his low drive past John.
This brought a good of play by Paulton neat build up but no end product. Cameron Brown and Ross Staley had several shots deflected for corners'
The fourth goal for Biggleswade in the sixty seventh minutes was a scrappy affair as Burnett hit the post and right back Max York mishit the ball into the net.
Again Rovers battled on and were rewarded on 86 minutes as a ball down the right from Alex Grimshaw saw Ben Bament out pace the defence round the keeper and rolled the ball into an empty net.
