Paulton had a even first half with promotion chasing Redditch United after Jamey Osborne's header was headed off the line by Rovers left back Jack Allward in the 3rd minute and in the next move George Carling waeved through found Ashley Sammons who fired over the bar.
On the left Leon Jeanne was a content threat on the vistors left and his crosses were worthy of better finishing from his teams attackers.
Paulton should have taken the lead as a Redditch attack was cleared to Josh Morgan-Williams who ran on laid the ball to Kyle Tooze and with only keeper Jose Veiga to beat hit over the bar.

On the restart Jeanne collected a loose pass from a home defender and hammered the ball to give Rovers the lead on 48 minutes.
Seven minutes later Redditch were awarded a penalty after Shearer was deemed to have been fould and he converted the penalty to level.
Play got very scrappy with little on offer with shots from Morgan-Williams then Redditch sub Troy Baker firing well wide.
Rovers defence were on top with Allan, Allward, Williams and Aaron Brown standing firm.
