PAULTON ROVERS 0 v 5 REDDITCH UNITED

Redditch United hit twice in the first half and went on a resounding win as Rovers battled to stay in the game.

In the 6 minute from Ashley Sammons corner Wil Richards free header sailed over then a shot on target by Robbie Thompson-Brown hit his own player.

Rovers first chance came as Jake Mawford headed wide fro Jordan Ricketts cross.

Redditch took a seventeth minute lead as Jazz Luckie beat the offside to score and immediatlely afterwards he found Thompson-Brown who blasted over thre bar.

Mawford received a lucky bounce off the referee raced on to hit the side netting. Nuno Felix had a shot blocked as Paulton pressed the visitors.

On 39 minutes Sammons had a great chance though his chip was held by keeper Ben John.

Five minutes later Sammons scored curling a low shot into the net.

Luckie had a weak shot held by John and carline hammered over when well placed.

Rovers best chance from aaron Brown corner Josh Read headed goalwards and Joe Chandler following up was twared by James Mutton defending.

The second half was barely two minutes only when Jordan Culliane-Liburd headed home Sammons corner and that knock back effected them with two many misplaced ball.

Mario Mateus worked well with Brown and sub Dave O'Hare cutting through and hitting the post then keeper Viera stopped Mateus and Mullings.

On seventy sixth minute a mistake led to Redditch's fourth as sub Luke Shearer broke down the left a crossed for his fellow sub Jack Hallahan was on hand to turn the ball home.

Mullings drove over the top and Mateus jinking run was stopped by Mutton.

Redditch made it 5-0 as anothe sub Jamie Molyneux got down the left and shot low across John in to the net.

Straight after Mullings volley on target deflected into the keepers hands and the final effort saw sub Sol Wheatley shot narrowly over the top after good build up by Kelvin Douglas.
