Paulton lost to Wimborne Town as Rovers were hit by a first half blitz by the home side taking the lead on 29 minutes when Louis Kellaway played in Toby Holmes to slot home.
The Magpies pressed for a second and got it after 34 minutes as Holmes won a richochet to make it 2-0.
Holmes turned provider to add a third shortly before the break to turn the ball to Billy Lowes to slip past Paulton keeper George Burton.
Rovers were better organised in the second half without threatening the home side.
They should have scored as Kailan Gould's cross found Elliott Keightley whose header missed the target when he looke certain to score.
Paulton grabbed a consolation with two minutes left as sub Nathan Legge won the ball to drive passed home stopper Alan Walker-Harris.
