AFC TOTTON 1 v 0 PAULTON ROVERS

Paulton lost at AFC Totton where the Stags won thanks to a wickedly deflected shot with less than 15 minutes left to play.

Paulton's keeper Keiron Hodges was alert to several attacks from Nat Sherbourne and neatly tipped over a header by Jack Vallis.

Elliott Gibbons found Will Hailston whose shot was held by Charlie Searle in the home goal.

Then Dave Allen had a header cleared off the line by Ryan Shaw with Hodges beaten.

Hailston's low drive was turned for a corner by Searle.

The second half started lively as Gould's shot was blocked for a corner whilst at the other end Hodges was smartly out to smoother the ball at Sherbourne's feet.

Near the hour mark Marley Ridge hit the Rovers post and the rebound fell to Watts and Hodges turned the ball around the post for a corner.

The only goal came afer a loose ball fell to Allen and his shot was deflected past a helpless Hodges.

Gibbons half volley was tipped over thr by Searle and another shot went narrowly wide.
