SWINDON SUPERMARINE 0 v 1 PAULTON ROVERS

Paulton dented play off hopefuls Swindon Supermarine hitting the only goal seven minutes from time.

Callum Parsons was sent off on 18 minutes for a tackle on Rovers midfielder Matt Benham which the referee saw as a dangerous two footed foul.

Benham fired narrowly wide then Marine had several efforts through Josh Parson and Ryan Campbell as Paulton defenders led by captain Josh Ford and Joe Chandler stopped the home side in their tracks.

Rovers upped their game in the second half as Mario Mateus twice tested keeper Connor Johns.

Sub Connor Waldon twice tested Hannah who then saved point black range from Campbell'

Josh Parsons then brought another fine save from Hannah and Chandler blocked a Waldon drive.

Paulton ended a spell of good interplay and pressure with the goal.Sol Wheatley drove forward from the half way line drove a powerful shot which Johns parried and Marine's centre half Ash Taylor could only drive into the roof of his own net.
