PAULTON ROVERS 0 v 3 CIRENCESTER TOWN

Paulton Cirencester looked a shadow of their performance last week not having a shot on target.

Cirencester scored after two minutes a corner on the left taken by captain Adam Connlly was turned home by Ben Whitehead.

Paulton pressed well without testing Mateusz Wierczorek in the visiting goal until Joe Chandler got a shot in.

Connolly again crossed for Whitehead but home stopper Andy Hannah cut out any danger.

Rovers response saw Dale Evans free kick headed wide by Chandler.

Joe Guest had a shot on the restart. However Hannah save brilliantly as Whitehead beat the offside trap.

Hannah kept Rovers in the game tipping over from a Whitehead drive then again from Henry Spading. Hannah went on to make a series of saves.

Spalding made it 2-0 on 69 minutes breaking down the right to score.

Paulton had a few half chances without any outcome.

It was 3-0 on 88 minutes as Sam Walsh straight off the bench cut in from the left to curl the ball home.
