Paulton went in to the game on the back of a 2-1 loss to Barnstaple town but after a scrappy first ten minutes Paulton looked to have had the edge with two Evans free kicks being awarded.
Paulton were forced into an early change with the injured Liam Monelle made way for Josh Morgan William and 26 minutes into the game the home side were given a lifeline when Greg Peel’s goal was disallowed for offside and only 6 minutes later Paulton were given another fright when Issac Pearce’s shot ricocheted off the bar.
Paulton then came out lively in the second half with Kyle Knott’s cross deflecting out for a goal kick and the home side eventually got their well deserved break through when striker Jack Ball continued his good goal-scoring form by calmly slipping the ball past the Larks keeper.
7 minutes later Issac Pearce got the equaliser for the Larks and they got a second five minutes later from Matt Britton. Larkhall put the game to bed with a late goal as Issac Pearce latched on to a loose ball to score his second.
Paulton will look to recover as they take on Cinderford and Swindon Supermarine over the coming days.
