Paulton had the earley share of possession as they attacked the Marine defence.
It was Rovers who opened the scoring after seven minutess when Ben Lacey played the ball through to Nick McCootie who rounded Marine keeper Kent Kauppinen to slot the ball home.
The visitors first chances was after fifteen minutes when a left wing cross by Josh Morse was blocked and the ball spun in the area before Marcus Mapstone headed upward but Paulton keeper Lewis Pierre cleared.

Swindon right back Dan Wallington was been given as difficult time by Brandon Barnes and having been booked ten minutes earlier was very lucky to receive a telling off from the referee after another attrocious foul on Barnes in the thirty eightth minute.

On the hour a Reaney cross from the left and Billing met it with a sweeping shot that hit the underside of the bar and was cleared to safety.
Marine brought on Kayden Jackson signed on loan in the week from Swindon Town and the talented youngsters first touch was to score. Lapham played a high ball which Pierre punched away only to Jackson who stroked the ball home to level.
