(Aside) Paulton man of the match Stuart Tovey
Paulton came away victorious from Wimborne Town but could have won by a more comfortable margin.
Josh Klein-Davies struck after thirty two minutes to give Rovers the lead after a brilliant dribbling run along the byline by Nick McCootie to lay the ball to his strike partner a easy tap in.
Wimborne levelled five minutes later when San Griffin headed home unmarked following Jamie Davidson's corner on the right.
Two minutes before the break Paulton right winger Luke Ballinger was clearly shoved over five yards into the penalty area as he went on a mazey run.
Remarkably the referee let play go on until his assistant waved his flag and looked about the place it across his chest to indicate a penalty. After consultations by the officals he award a free kick fully five yards outside the area!
Rovers opened up brightly in the second half and Klein-davies, McCootie and Ballinger tested home keeper Jason Harvell.
However on seventy four minutes Paulton were awarded a free kick forty yards out for a foul on Stuart Tovey. Tovey took the kick launching it deep into 'The Magpie's' goal mouth. Central defender Scott Brice out jumped Harvell and the ball fell to his defensive partner Marcus mapstone who thumped the ball home.
Three minutes from time a bullet of a shot on the left by AFC Bournemouth loanee Billy Maybury was brilliantly saved low to his left hand post by Rovers stopper Kyle Phillips to ease his sides pressures.
