Paulton Rovers Football Club are disappointed that manager John Rendell and his coaching team have announced they are leaving the club to join Yate Town currently languishing in a relegation spot in the Pitching In Southern League Premier South.

Rendell and his team have worked tirelessly over the last five years and leave with Paulton sitting fifth and in a playoff spot in Division One South.

He played in goal for seven years in the early part of the century and was part of the squad that saw Rovers promoted to the Southern League in 2004.

The club would like to thank John and his assistant for all their hard work and wishes them well in their future endeavors.

Football Chairman Dave Bissex is seeking to appoint a new boss on an interim or permanent basis as soon as possible.
