Paulton Ladies Reserves secured the Somerset League Chairmans Cup for the first time with a hard fought 3-1 win against AEK Boco Development, at Glastonbury FC.
Jasmine Ford opened the scoring mid-way through the first half as she ran onto a long kick from keeper Emily Quinn, and knocked the ball past the advancing Boco keeper into the open net.
The second half sparked into life in the final 20 minutes as Boco grabbed an equaliser from a free-kick. Within a couple of minutes Paulton regained the lead with a spectacular long range strike from Kirsty Sheppard and shortly afterwards a good team move saw Alice Ford fire into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
