Haydn sadly passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and will be greatly missed by the many who knew him. The family wish to let all Paulton Rovers supporters know of the funeral arrangements.

His son, Andy, was one of Paulton Rovers most successful managers and a former player. Haydn was the club's official photographer for a number of years.

A minutes silence was held last Saturday before Rovers played Melksham Town with Andy in attendance.

Haydn's funeral will start at 12:30pm on Monday 27th March 2023 at St Peter & St Pauls Church, located in the centre of Shepton Mallet High street.

His family invite all those who would like to attend the service to wear the traditional dark funeral attire, but with a splash of red to symbolise the red rose from 'Haydn's Jones Flowers' and many of the football club's he supported. He was well known in the football world at Bristol City, Coleford Athletic, Shepton Mallet and Paulton Rovers.

Many of you will know, most of Haydn's working life was spent selling flowers. Therefore, the family welcome those who would like to bring a floral tribute with them to be placed outside the church to mark his final journey.

Following the church service, the family invite you all to join them for refreshments and to celebrate his life in the clubhouse at Shepton Mallet AFC.
