On Tuesday, after some false starts due to the weather, we finally welcome Malvern Town to The Winterfield Stadium.

Our visitors currently sit in tenth place in the table on 45 points and still have an outside chance of reaching the playoffs. Overall this season they have been performing steadily after an early drop down the table before rising back to challenge higher up the table. Their previous six games have consisted of three wins, two losses and one draw. The most recent result was a 3 - 0 defeat on Saturday after a long trip to Mousehole.

Saturday's loss at the hands of Larkhall was our third defeat on the bounce and was disappointing not least because of the lack of chances created after good performances in the previous games. Unfortunately, the squad will be thin on the ground again for this game and the Boss had this to say on the game:

"Another disappointing result (by the odd goal again) on Saturday against another play-off team but it wasn’t helped by a red card on sixty minutes when only one person in the ground thought it was a sending off. We’re not getting any luck at the moment and down to bare bones again for Malvern on Tuesday. Dan Restorick was carried off injured in first half and joins Dave O Hare, Sam Pashan, Dan Cottle, Jesse Thompson and Brad Norris on the side-lines. Joe Hall is unavailable tonight, Milo is on holiday and Martin Lenihan is training for the London marathon and can’t risk any injuries."
