We take a break from league action on Tuesday evening when Nailsea & Tickenham visit The Winterfield Stadium for the quarter-final of the Somerset Premier Cup.

Nailsea & Tickenham defeated Radstock and Bridgwater to get to this stage in the cup and have been in mixed form in the league in the last few weeks. The previous five games have seen defeats to Buckland and Clevedon but victories over Bridgwater, Brixham and Portishead have seen them remain one place and one point above ourselves in the league table.

Rovers go into the game off the back of a tough week. Defeats to Cleveland and Torpoint stalled a good run of form in the previous couple of months so a good result in this game will hopefully pick the squad back up again. Some slightly better composure in front of goal would have seen a very different game on Saturday having created enough chances to win the game. Such are the small margins in football!

With the weather looking to be dry and a little milder, it will be a good night to come along and support the lads!
