On Saturday afternoon, we go to AFC Stoneham for the Preliminary Round of the FA Cup!

Like our previous opponents in the FA Cup, Hamble Club FC, AFC Stoneham play in the Velocity Wessex League and currently sit second in the table having won both their opening league matches. They are in good form having also won in the previous round of the FA Cup and the opening round of the Velocity Wessex League Cup. Oliver Jenkins leads their goal scoring table with four goals.

This has the signs of a cracking match as we also go into the game in good form. Back to back league wins, scoring nine goals in the process, should take us into the game high in confidence! In team news, KItan Jaiyeoba will be assessed after being withdrawn in Tuesday's victory.

We love a good cup run so lets get behind the lads and keep that winning feeling going!

There will be a coach to AFC Stoneham leaving the club at 10.30am. The fare will be £13 for adults, £12 for club members and under 16s £6. Please add your name to the list in the club if you'd like to travel. Spaces will be limited.

For those making their way by car, we have these instructions from AFC Stoneham:
Any person coming specifically to the venue to attend the AFC Stoneham match will not need a QR code and won’t need to enter via the usual route through the Reception area. Instead, ground entrance to the AFC Stoneham match will be available via the large gates situated to the left of the main building as you approach. This is applicable to all attendees, including players, management, match officials and spectators.

There is limited on-site parking and an overflow car park opposite the ground. To access the overflow car park, turn left out of the ground and the entrance is approximately 300 yards to your right. A pathway from the car park is just a short walk back to the ground.
IMPORTANT - Please note that there are parking restrictions in force in both car parks. Please do not park on double yellow lines or on the grass. Disabled parking bays are only to be used by vehicles displaying a disabled badge. Please park in marked bays only. Please note that the restrictions previously in force which limited parking to a maximum of 2 or 3 hours unless you signed in on an Ipad in Reception have now been lifted. The car park is not operated by AFC Stoneham.
