Next up, we are back in cup action! And its a local derby as we make the short trip to Welton Rovers in round two of the Les Phillips Cup!

Everyone will be aware of the difficulties that Welton have been through in the last few months, and they have found life difficult in the First Division of the Jewson Western League. However, Wayne Thorne has made a number of new signings and there appears to be a little more buzz around the club again.

Our previous game was the 2-2 draw with Bridgwater; a game hampered by the persistent rain! Much like the Helston game, it was a game we could have won with some more clinical finishing. Having had a couple of weeks off, it will be interesting to see how the squad reacts to those results. Our previous cup matches have seen some squad rotation and it seems likely that we will see that again for this game.
