After the weather finally relented enough to allow their game to go ahead (at the 4th attempt), Ivybridge are our confirmed opponents for the quarter-final of the Les Phillips Cup after they defeated Helston.

Our hosts currently sit in 12th in the league table on 29 points and previous to beating Helston had an excellent 4-1 win over Torpoint in the previous round of this cup competition. In their four games previous to the Helston match, they have won one (against Street) and lost three. Kai Burrell is their top goal scorer.

Unfortunately, our weekend match with Wellington had to be postponed due to a frozen pitch but confidence should be high after our impressive 3-0 win away at Clevedon two weeks ago. Previous cup rounds have given Kieran Baggs the chance to use the whole squad and so it remains to be seen how the team will line-up this week. This will be our first meeting of the season with Ivybridge after our first league match was postponed.

There is a coach running to Ivybridge leaving the club at 10:00am. If you'd like to travel, please leave your name on the list at the club. Spaces are limited. The fare is £13 (£12 for members) and £6 for U18s.
