On Wednesday evening, we make the short trip to Frome for the quarter-final of the Francis Hillier Somerset Cup!

After Weston-super-Mare fielded an ineligible player in our second round match (a game we lost 11-10 on penalties) we have been reinstated into the competition! Our hosts are having a great season. They sit at the top of the Southern League Division One and are clear by 12 points from Malvern Town. Their last game out was a comprehensive 4-0 over Bishops Cleeve on Saturday.

Our good run of form has continued, despite the recent disruption to the squad. Caretaker managers, Martin Lenihan and Jack Dancey have guided the team to two good victories that have pushed us into second in the league (at the time of writing). Joining Lenihan and Dancey will be former Rovers player and manager, John Rendell, until the end of the season. He will assist the pair and be a guiding force from the bench. Welcome back, John!

Since our relegation from the Southern League, it's been while since we have played Frome so this one will be a game to look forward to! And certainly a tough one. We will need all your support for the night once again!
