Paulton Parish Council was formed in 1894 and has a membership of seventeen councillors. The parish of Paulton is one of the largest in Bath & North East Somerset (BANES). Elections for the Council are held every four years. Paulton Parish Councillors have elected not to receive any remuneration but to give their time, services and skills freely for the benefit of the local community.

This weekend, we welcome Sidmouth Town to The Winterfield Stadium for the Western League Play-off Final!

Our visitors finished the season in fifth spot in the table and put in great performance last Saturday to defeat Torpoint in the other semi-final. They finished the season in form, winning four of the five final matches. One defeat to Saltash was followed by victories over Newquay, Bridgwater, Wellington and Helston. Our previous games saw a 1-1 draw at The Winterfield Stadium back in September was followed by our convincing 4-1 win away in Devon back in October.

Our disappointing performance in our final league game at Torpoint was followed on Saturday by an incredible battling performance to beat Clevedon; playing much of the game with ten men. At times it was back to the wall defending but we still looked very dangerous on the break and three brilliant finishes was enough to seal the win. Despite being without the ball for much of the second half, James Smallcombe was rarely tested which showed just how hard the team worked to stop Clevedon. Kitan Jaiyeoba was replaced early in the second half and will be assessed prior to the game.

We will have our end of season presentation after the game at approximately 6pm and all supporters are welcome to join us.

Parking
We are expecting the car park to fill up quickly and early on Saturday so we’d recommend that local supporters, if they are able, to walk or get public transport to the ground.

Please be responsible if parking on local roads or estates. Please do not block access areas or driveways. There is a free car park in the village opposite the Red Lion with a 10-15 minute walk to the ground.

Please arrive early for the game to help us get people in before kick-off. We have a well stocked bar to enjoy some refreshments before the match!
