On Saturday afternoon, we are back at The Winterfield Stadium after four away games on the trot! Saltash Utd will be our guests for this Jewson Western League fixture.

Saltash are currently in 4th spot in the table on 25 points; just one point behind ourselves although they have only played twelve games compared to our 13. They have been on a good run of form, winning their last three league games against Wellington, Shepton Mallett and St Austell. Across all eleven games they have won eight, lost two and drawn one. A player to watch will be Deacon Thomson who has racked up 11 goals this season.

We have also been on a good run of form though. Since our narrow defeat to league leaders Clevedon, we have won the next four league matches without conceding. On Tuesday evening, we played our first round game of the Les Phillips Cup away to Keynsham. We came away with a 1-0 win; a score that seems close, but in all honesty, we dominated the game. The squad for the day was well rotated with players returning from injury and suspension along with those with less game time, all given a chance to shine.

With two teams in form hopefully this will be a cracker and we'd love to have you with us to fill up the ground once again!
