Our guests currently sit in second place in the Jewson Western League on 54 points. That's five points ahead of ourselves but also have a game in hand. They are hot on the heals of the leaders, Clevedon Town, who are five points ahead but have played four more games. They have won four of their previous league matches (including a 1-0 win over Clevedon) but did slip to a 1-0 defeat away at Sidmouth in their last outing. Although they may not be the most prolific goal-scorers in the promotion chasers, they do have a very mean defence especially at home. Curtis Damerell is their top scorer on 15 goals.

We will approach the game off the back of two morale boosting results. Those being a 1-0 win over fellow promotion chasers, Buckland Athletic, and Tuesday evening's 3-0 win over Brislington which including KItan Jaiyeoba's hat-trick! Unfortunately, we lost Sam Hill to an early injury but it remains to be seen whether he will be fit for Saturday's fixture.
