On Saturday, we look to continue our strong run of form and keep pressure on the leaders as Newquay AFC come to town!

At the time of writing, our guests currently sit in 7th place in the table on 40 points but do have a midweek game against Saltash that could see them drop a place if Saltash win. They have seen two wins, two losses and a draw in the last five games. The last game was a scoreless draw against an in-form Street on Saturday. The run of those five wins saw comprehensive wins over Saltash and Oldland Abbotonians. Jack Bray-Evans is their current top scorer.

We have been in excellent form in the last five games with four victories and a draw. The draw being Saturday's 2-2 with second placed Torpoint. It is now well known that Kieran Baggs left the club after that game to take over at Melksham (his home town) taking with him several of the Rovers' squad. Tuesday's tough fixture with Wellington could have produced a wobble but caretaker player manager, Martin Lenihan, guided the remains of the squad to an excellent performance in very tough conditions; not only in the aftermath of the departures but also the awful weather! The result would have done wonders for the confidence and spirit as we look to push on in the play-off spots.
