We open our league campaign on Tuesday evening with a trip to Dorchester Town!

Our hosts recently dropped from the Southern League Premier to Division One and have seen a number of changes to the line-up. Dorchester actually began their league season on Saturday making the short trip to local rivals, Weymouth, where they suffered a 5-1 defeat. Matty Burrows scoring their goal. But make no mistake, this will be an incredibly tough start to the season for us!

Much has been said about the recent history of Paulton Rovers and the incredible high of winning promotion only to lose most of that team to other local clubs. Naturally, we find ourselves starting again and John Rendell alongside Martin Lenihan and Jon Welsh have been working hard to rebuild the squad. Unfortunately, that squad has been immediately hit by some injuries and our opening FA Cup game resulting in a disappointing loss. But as Jon Welsh stated in his post-match interview, it may have been the wake up call required to kick-start the team!

This is no easy fixture and we'd love to have your support for this one!

There will be a coach running to Dorchester leaving the club at 4.15pm. There are limited spaces available and the fare is £10 for club members. Please add your name to the list in the club.
